Finished size

Once finished the whale measures 10 x 32 centimeters (3,9 x 12,6”). Including his fins, he measures 30,5 cm (12”) wide.

Fabric & Filling

This kit contains 100% cotton fleece. The natural wool filling comes from Dutch (or sometimes other European) sheep who spend their time on heathland and natural meadows.

Difficulty

This pattern is designed with the beginner in mind, making it suitable for anyone with basic sewing skills. Wether you just starting out or are experienced, I’ll take you through everything you need to make your little one the cutest gift.

The choice of fabric may seem daunting, but with these detailed tips, step-by-step photos and written instructions you will get there.

Before jumping straight in, I share all my expertise about working with fleece and have you practice and test to make sure you and your loved ones get the most joy out of making something yourself.
